Recent Amazing Visit to Botswana Delta!

Have just returned from a two week trip to Botswana staying with people that live there - here is a couple of images of the delta.  What a stunning place!

The delta is covered in beautiful lilies that turn with the sun and the fence in the sunset image is to keep the crocodiles out!!

Happy New Year, I hope you enjoyed the festivities. I attended one of your courses last year at Erddig House and entered their 2013 'Echoes of Erddig' calendar competition. Not only was I short-listed for the finals, but went on to win one of the months and overall winner!! to say I was surprised is a little understated. I've attached the winning photo, and other short-listed one, as I thought you may be interested. Thanks again for all your help the course was great, I'm still honing the tips you gave me.

Two North Wales images accepted for Prestigious Gallery!

Evening Shots of Conwy Bay taken 2011

Jean Napier arps has had two photographic images accepted by The Cambrian Academy for their prestigious Open Show in January 2012.  These two images appear in her latest Rivers of Wales book entitled "The River Conwy - Source to Sea" which follows the river from its source in Llyn Conwy high up in the Welsh hinterland to where it flows into Conwy Bay by Llandudno.

Landscapes around Plas y Brenin in the Snowdonia National Park

We had a great "Landscapes of Snowdonia" Residential Weekend at Plas y Brenin with fantastic weather! We visited a variety of places from waterfalls, wild rivers, lakes, old churchyards,  forests, mountain scenes, the Menai Straits and Anglesea - phew - all in one amazing weekend!!
