One of My Images Chosen by MOMA Wales!

The prestigious mid Wales Gallery "y Tabernacl - Museum of Modern Art" in Machynlleth has bought one of my images for their collection!  This is a great honour!

The image chosen is a black-and-white image of Beach Wood taken on the Menai Straits:-

Two North Wales images accepted for Prestigious Gallery!

Jean Napier arps has had two photographic images accepted by The Cambrian Academy for their prestigious Open Show in January 2012.  These two images appear in her latest Rivers of Wales book entitled "The River Conwy - Source to Sea" which follows the river from its source in Llyn Conwy high up in the Welsh hinterland to where it flows into Conwy Bay by Llandudno.

Autumn Day at Erddig - A Very Special SLR Part 1 and Part 2 Workshop

The sun shone for us last Saturday and the students took some very special images!

Comments from the two days:-

Dear Jean
Thank you so much for yesterday's Part 2 DSLR camera course. This was by far the best course I have been on. I now feel I have much greater understanding of my camera, its capabilities and limitations. I look forward to taking real pictures in the future and not just snaps. I also look forward to more of your courses next year.
Best wishes Jane

Hi Jean
Just wanted to thank you again. I enjoyed the workshop so much.
I learnt such a lot and have been practicing and going over everything we did on Saturday, and loving it all.
Also I looked in my warranty on my exisiting camera and it is still covered, so they told me to send it to them and they will clean it or replace, so all is good.
My new one is on the way too, one day I will move on to a DSLR and hopefuly meet you again for some more amazing instruction!
Kind Regards  Becci
